Royal Gorge Route Railroad is open all year round, with trains running at 12:30 pm departure daily from Jan. 1- May 25th 2018. There is an additional 5:00 pm departure on Saturdays from March 17- May 19th 2018.
Colorado’s most historic train will be running through Royal Gorge and under the famous Royal Gorge Suspension Bridge for the 2018 season.

The Arkansas River
As the snow melts high in the Colorado Rockies, world class whitewater rapids are born in the Royal Gorge Region. The Arkansas River hosts more rafters than any other river in the world.
