Willkommen an bord! If you can’t make it to Munich, celebrate Oktoberfest aboard the Royal Gorge Route Railroad’s Oktoberfest Beir Train! From September 5th thru October 18th on 12:30 p.m departures. Let our professional waitstaff serve you a beautifully prepared three-course gourmet meal (featuring a special Oktoberfest main entree choice), a free commemorative pint glass, and choose from our selection of beer on tap for an additional price onboard. Listen to our professional accordionist as he serenades you from your seat with German melodies. Enjoy majestic soaring views of the Royal Gorge while seated in an elevated, partial glass-domed car. Or sit in our 1950’s Dining Lunch Car with a parlor room inspired interior and the table-styled seating focused on stunning views pictured in our big paneled windows. Wander out to our open observation car and enjoy the 360° views of Colorado’s “Grand Canyon”, the Arkansas River, geological formations of the gorge, and historic sites while the wind carries echoes of an era gone by.
